I currently use Noted+ to take and transcribe quick voice memos from the Apple Watch. For example, when driving and listening to a podcast that triggers an insight I want to write about, I press my action button on the Apple Watch, which opens Noted+. Then, I can instantly and safely capture my idea without needing my phone.
This would instantly make me a lifetime subscriber. :)

I might even start to think about purchasing an Apple Watch if this feature is implemented.

It would be awesome to have a complication to use on the Apple Watch too, but this has a pitfall which may or may not be obvious.
I have "Just Press Record" on my Apple Watch, and I end up getting hours and hours of accidentally recorded audio because it's so easy to just barely touch the complication and trigger a recording.
Possible solutions might include requiring the complication to be pressed for at least a minimum length of time (like maybe half a second—not very long but long enough that it's likely to be deliberate).
If the APIs available for complications don't allow that, the there could be an optional confirmation when the watchOS app opens—optional because some people might prefer accidental recordings over having a second button press to record.
