Free up memory space after transcription is finished

When I activate the program, it consumes a very high memory on my laptop. That's fine for me. However, I would like to have this memory free again after the transcription is finished, until I restart the next transcription.

Maybe this is a setting? I like the fact that it stays loaded and why I'm getting a machine with large amounts of memory to handle applications like this.

Hey Thomas, this is something I have given a lot of thought to.
Each model (depending on its size has different load times, some of which are pretty long! I would need to unload the model from memory after a period of time to ensure that people doing multiple recordings back to back dont have to reload the model into memory.
What sort of time delay do you think would make sense for you personally?

Neil Chudleigh: So, if I try it on my MacBook M1, it only takes 3 seconds to load the biggest version. So, it's not that problematic for me. For me, 5 minutes would be ideal. It seems best for me if you could define the duration in the settings. Maybe it would be a good idea to have the ability to manually unload the model additionally. This way you could free up the space immediatly if you want to and wouldnt need to quit and start again the app.

Neil Chudleigh: I would love this feature. This is for me personally my number one request! I am happy with the updates and everything but I'm not using any of the new features during the last months. This is the only the I would need. Otherwise the app is perfect. For me it also only loads 3 seconds. Unloading from ram after 5 mintes would be optimal. But I also would appreciate a selector.
