Limit history to N days

Currently, the recording history will grow without limit unless you click to delete them one at a time or delete using Finder.

Add a feature, enabled by default, to limit the recording history to N days.

TL;DR; Having the ability to choose another folder for local history

I use tmpfs for many things and I would have liked to also put the history on it. Unfortunately, there are no options for this and I tried a symbolic link but it doesn't work.

For me, took 5 min and made a cron job on mac to remove. Mine runs at 6am and 6pm daily. 
'crontab -e' in terminal then 
0 6,18  
 rm -rf /Users/[name]/Documents/superwhisper/recordings/
 && mkdir /Users/[name]/Documents/superwhisper/recordings
change your [name] to actual path.

Some of the benefit of this software is local transcription. We need to be able to not store transcript or recordings.

Agree with "ability to just turn off history"

I like this idea. I came here to request the ability to just turn off history — or have a simpler way to clear it. I do a lot of test messages as I'm configuring different parts of superwhisper, and I sometimes dictate confidential information that I don't want recorded locally.
